In this philosophical exploration you will find almost 100 questions and zero answers. This mismatch may reflect the essence of human existence; after all, life has a lot more questions in store than answers. Yet as long as you ask questions, you are alive. They trigger your thoughts and help you more fully grasp yourself and the world. This is definitely true for the questions that Britta Teckentrup has gathered in her book. Some of them, many people might have asked themselves at some point: “What happens when the winter doesn’t end anymore?” or “Is he going to like me?” Other questions are so original and surprising, that you will first grin and then ponder them: “When an eagle collects food for its babies, is this similar to going to work?” or “Why do people have the least contact with each other when they are most closely crowded together?” Due to the reduced style, Britta Teckentrup’s prints show the underlying atmosphere in a tangible and sensuous way.
